Good school shoes but scuff easily
No, I don't recommend this
The girls black school shoes are good quality and fit comfortably, but they scuff much easier than previous M&S school shoes we have had, probably due to not having such a thick sole. For that reason I wouldn't buy again for a young child.

Returned these as they are so poorly made from really cheap materials. Completely rigid sole with no flexibility whatsoever, making them totally unsuitable for children’s developing and active feet! The material of the upper of the shoe was poorly cut and looked quite misshaped.

I had read great reviews about these shoes and was looking for some black school shoes for my 6 year old. Usually they are scuffed and look so old within a week. Not these shoes! Week 3 and looking brand new which is unheard of for us. I'm sure they'll continue like this too. So well made. I'll buy again..

Lovely shiny shoes
I switched back to M&S school shoes when another brand’s didn’t last a term! Daughter loves how shiny these are and the Velcro strap is super handy for quick on & off. Shame there are no half sizes, we went up a size and put a heel pad at the back until there is no slip.
