I always buy these trousers for my sons - they are both quite slim and these trousers fit perfectly and look smart.

Perfect for a slim and tall 15-year-old. The fabric of which the trousers are made could be of a slightly better quality, but generally good school trousers. I also like the grow proof hems that adding an extra 3cm of length to the trousers.

Nearly all sizes are out of stock. I hope they will be back in the stores very soon.

My son is extremely dinky these trousers fit perfect for him they are a little long on the leg but hoping he will grow a little before September that's if he goes back

Glad to see the return of quality to the trousers. I would much rather pay that little bit more and keep the quality and durability of your school uniform

I have bought my son M&S school trousers for years. He is now 14. A tall 14 yes, but I still thought he would fit school trousers for a while. After ordering and returning age 16-17 as they came up the same in the leg as the 15-16 he had been wearing, I ordered 17-18 long and extra long. Dismayed to find they are enormous in the waist, despite being 'slim'. Returned and had success in another High Street shop. Saddened as the quality is not as good but feel I have exhausted the options. Complicated further by living in Portugal and delivery is no longer offered to here (other than the Spanish site which has very limited stock) so the to-ing and fro-ing is rather a nuisance. I wish it were easier!

These trousers are the perfect fit for my slim reception child. He is almost 5 but wears size 3-4. However, he has managed to get holes in the knees of the first two pairs since school started in September (it is 18 December) so they are not that durable. I have just bought this third pair from the same place just because they fit well.

My son is a tall 9 year old so I got the 10-11. Way too wide on his legs, not slim fit at all. Sent back for refund.

I recently discovered these were available having previously bought the Regular Fit Slim Leg twin packs. These trousers are a much better fit around the waist for my 5 year old boys as the boys are slim. I bought both the Regular Leg and Slim Leg trousers in the Slim Fit so I could compare the two and I found the Regular Leg (slim fit) better than the slim leg-slim fit, so I returned these. I can’t yet comment on how well they wear or wash, but the quality seems good. They are a thicker material than the twin packs you can get (which have worn through on the knees after a year).

My son liked it. It fit perfectly, found a tad expensive. But will buy again if it washes well

Not too slim, but a nice shape. Average sized 16 year old son very happy with this pair of trousers. Went for a size up to ensure growing room. I especially like the adjustable length and waist.

I bought these for my son who is 11 but wearing age 7-8 trousers, the slim waist is amazing as he is fed up with wearing trousers pulled in loads at the waist (although the waist can still be adjusted if needed on these) they look smarter as not all bunched up like other pairs! For price and quality you can beat them, less than half the price of similar at the ‘school recommended shop’ and the slim leg also means he keeps to uniform regulation but the slim leg fit so much better than a baggy looking regular on his small frame, I’ve even bought the next size up ready for a growth spurt (although these also have the extra hem so you can easily let down slightly more length) brilliant
