Carmelle furniture

I bought some Carmelle bedroom furniture about 5 years ago. On moving home I needed to buy more, sadly it is now discontinued by Marks and Spencer. The tallboy was the only piece available. All good, ordered on Saturday on line, arrived on Wednesday. Great product please restock Carmelle.

Not what I would expect from M&S
No, I don't recommend this
Bought because it was the right dimensions and I thought that an M&S piece of furniture, for a price this substantial, would be good quality. It isn't great. The basic structure is OK but the drawers have no easy sliding mechanism and the drawer stops on the bottom are hastily screwed on bits of plastic. Of the 5 drawers in the unit one had a handprint on that wouldn't come off, one had paint flaking off inside, one was a bit smaller than the opening it was due to fit into so looked odd amongst the rest. That left 2 drawers that were good and fit for purpose. I was quite shocked at the poor quality for an M&S item. I would not buy other things in the range as I had originally intended.
