step 1
Beat together the cream (300 ml), mascarpone (250 g) and half of the limoncello (2 tbsp) until it just starts to hold its shape.
step 2
Stir in half of the lemon zest (1/2) and icing sugar (2 tbsp), then swirl through the lemon curd (2 tbsp).
step 3
Cut the pandoro (1) horizontally into five slices. Place the bottom on a serving plate and drizzle over a little limoncello (2 tbsp). Add a dollop of the cream mixture and spread out, then arrange another piece of pandoro on top, rotating the slices to get a Christmas tree shape. Repeat with a little more limoncello, cream, and another slice of pandoro, layering as you go.
step 4
Finish with a dusting of edible gold dust (1 tsp) and an extra sprinkle of icing sugar. Finish with a grating of the remaining lemon zest (1/2).
step 4 Finish with a dusting of edible gold dust (1 tsp) and an extra sprinkle of icing sugar. Finish with a grating of the remaining lemon zest (1/2).
