Preheat the grill to high.

Heat a splash of olive oil in a large non-stick frying pan and fry the M&S Select Farms British beef meatballs (12) for a few minutes, stirring frequently until golden brown all over.

Pour in the jar of M&S classic tomato everything sauce (340 g) and bring to the boil, then cover and simmer gently for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cut the submarine rolls (4) in half lengthwise. Lightly butter (to taste) each side and toast under the grill until just golden.

Divide the simmered meatballs and sauce between the cut bread rolls.

Top the subs with grated mozzarella (100 g) and pop under the grill until the cheese is just melted. Scatter over the sliced spring onions (2).
