The old family organiser design is better

The family organiser calendar is always very practical with lots of space to write engagements on and a good width of columns. However, this year it came with a flap at the bottom to hold a screw top pen, which I found very irritating. The flap isn’t necessary and gets in the way so I’ve cut it off and the screw top biro is a fiddle to access quickly if you want to write down an appointment. I’ve just discarded it already in favour of your old, felt tip pen from last year. The old design with the cardboard backing which held the felt tip pen at the bottom was much more practical.

I always buy my M&S family planner/calendar every year. But every year they change the design, sadly not for the better. Please go back about three years and go back to the original design. Why change for the sake of change?!

Nice calendar but utterly rubbish pen holder. It’s literally cardboard, I very much doubt it will last a month let alone a whole year. If I had noticed this before writing on the calendar I would have returned it.

No storage box
Not as good as last year's. This year's doesn't have the little storage box (? Pouch) , I used this for notes so will miss it next year.

Nice calendar, use to have more to choose from.Prefered the other styled calendars.It will do the job though, brought instead of cards, last all year.Most cards are just throwed away after a week.

Annoying pen
Calendar is fine but the pen you get with it is a bit of a faff as you have to screw the top of it on and off. Also it doesn’t have a pocket at the bottom of the calendar for important letters or receipts etc.
