Lovely shape dress, ideal for slightly shorter person. Very slimming but dont size up, no need. Soft velvet, just be wary that the velvet can make it ride up under coat or jacket.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fit of this dress, the length is just right and it looks really flattering. It would have 5 stars but the fabric is upside down. The velvet pile should be smooth from top to bottom but it’s been made so it’s smooth from bottom top. This makes it a rough to the touch.

Beautiful dress. Ordered a 10 as reviews suggested this item came up big. Glad I did as a 12 would gave been far too large Only critisim is the bulky pockets which detract from a smooth hip line.

This is a very pretty and unusual dress which is why I like it. However it's also disappointing. Despite the perfect fit over shoulders and bust, it's too wide at the waist so I have decided to take it in, and after doing that I might remove the pockets so that it hangs better.

Bit on the small side
Love the dress and will stay in my wardrobe as a staple classic. Only reason not 5 stars, I usually buy 16 as I have a larger bust, this is a little tight in both bust and around armholes.

I liked the colour and neckline of this dress. The pile of this type of fabric should be smooth from top to bottom. The pile on my dress lies the wrong way (smooth from bottom to top) and I found it stuck to the sofa and made it uncomfortable. Also it was more shapeless than I thought it would be, though perhaps a belt would have helped. A bit disappointed overall for the price.
