This platter is exactly the size I was looking for - narrow enough to fit between the placemats, when positioned in the middle of the table. Many serving mats are too wide - so well done M&S! Also looks good and I believe it will be fairly durable - though, I think it requires careful handling, as the slate is quite thin (but this makes sense, as it would be too heavy to store in a drawer when not in use if it was thicker).

Joeyelbows 22-12-2021 12:42 Slate cheese platter The platter itself is very good, my issue came with the box they were delivered in was damaged and so was the under edges of the platter. It is able to be used, because the edges are curved and rough, this helps to disguise the damages.
