Was looking for an affordable smart looking walking shoe for dual purpose travelling on business to be worn with jeans and smart casual but also to do walking/ hiking. They appear to fulfil the dual function. Comfortable but had sore heel whilst bedding in. Preference was for them to be waterproof, will see how they perform being only shower proof and how durable they are with daily use

I bought these for trecking in South Asia, as lighter weight shoes I wore them twice only and each time slipped several times and only just managing to prevent falls, and other treckers helping to prevent slips! These are not safe trecking shoes. I bought Karrimor trecking sandles instead here and they're terrific - Ive left the Goodmove lace up shoes behind. A total waste of money and a huge disappointment. Avoid buying them.

I haven't worn these outside yet so I can't comment as to their qualities in the rain. But they look very sturdy, well made and with a really good grip which is what I was looking for. I chose a size 7 and it fits fine. I would certainly recommend them. I was able to take advantage of a promotion with 15% off so even better!
