I bought the Pintuck Cavalry Twill Elasticated Midi Skirt as a present for my sister, who loved it. I then bought one for myself as its such a useful skirt, as it can be dressed up or worn more casually. I am a size 16 but bought an 18 as you can see more of the pintucks round the waist and also it made the skirt a little longer, which I prefer. The material is quite silky and not heavy at all, so basically its a skirt which you can wear all year round. Moreover, its such a flattering classy skirt and I know I will get a lot of wear out of it.

This skirt is nice, but not what I was expecting as 'cavalry twill' is normally a substantial weight fabric - this is a lightweight silky fabric. The shape is slim and not full at all, coming in to a slightly tulip shape, and the shirred fabric over the hips is flattering. I decided to keep it as it would be useful for a more dressy occasion.

This skirt is lovely - really pleased with it. The fabric is good quality and hangs nicely. Looks lovely on. The cut is on the smaller side - I’m between a 12 and 14, and the 14 is a good fit.

Lovely fit,However
The material is comfortable,and washable. The length is too long,reaching the tops of my feet.I might have kept it and had it shortened,but when I walked around my room I felt that the width around the hem was constrictive,narrower than the hip width.Jaeger ,please make a shorter length as well as your standard length,we are not all Amazons.I feel that I am excluded from the ability to buy Jaeger clothes as most are simply too long.
