I like all the Lucy design dresses and have several now. The design is flattering and comfortable for me. This one in cord is more of a cooler weather dress. Lovely to wear and always gets compliments.

Petite was slightly too big... but great quality! It seemed to be standard measurements and shorter length, rather than petite all over, so the vneck sat too low etc, it swamped me. However lovely item, high quality.

I bought the black pin cord with the little pattern and it felt like it had been tailored for me, it's great. I have a few 'Lucy' dresses and just ordered another one for the summer. I love the cut and quality. I'm a large lady, with a big belly and 5 foot 4 tall, the length is good (a long midi) and the fit is so nice under the bust. I get lots of compliments and looks when i wear them.

I received lots of lovely compliments when I wore this dress, most of which were based on the colour and the styling (which I took from the picture). It also looks similar to a more expensive brand and is nice and warm! The only reason that I didn't give it five stars was the fact that I could have gone down a size due to the cut of the dress.

Such a practical, flattering everyday garment. Easy to layer up with a lightweight thermal if needed. Easy to wear, washes well - wish it was tumble friendly, but we manage.

I have the Lucy dress in dark plum and black patterned and love both. The size (14 petite) fits and hangs well (I am 5'6'') and the skirt swishes nicely without feeling heavy. The soft needlecord is lovely and it's well-made and styled, with practical pockets. The front V is low for me so I wear a cotton tee underneath for modesty and warmth, and there's room for this without the dress feeling tight. This style is elegant and just a little Bohemian, worn with a Victorian petticoat and ankle boots. Very happy with my choices!

Love this dress! I have the teal which suits me my colouring. It’s very versatile and suits my body shape, which is short in the body, long in the leg. I’ve layered with wool tank-top, gillet, tights and ankle boots and received many compliments. Bought in the sale, which was a bonus. I’d recommend highly.

Sadly returned dress. Need petite for length but disappointingly this also made the waist/bust ratio too small and high up. Also the smock style is not flattering for someone with a larger bra size.
