Final battle!

This set was amazing. My mom got this set for me and I spent the morning working on it. I’d say it has a reasonable price for the amount of pieces, and I play with it so much. It has so many fun features were you can destroy hogwarts which is so cool. I do not know how they made harry and Voldemort stand and shoot spells though, as that just fall forward. I definitely recommend this set to any Harry Potter fan and I promise it won’t disappoint! ;D

love this set I have al of the other modular Hogwarts sets and this goes great with them, amazing pieces to represent the battle and how it can crumble apart to show damage

Poor quality, poor build

My first ever Lego build and Lego product that I’m really not happy with. When fully built in the original layout I found it to be extremely flimsy. Not sturdy at all and kept falling apart! Quite disappointed and upset. Rebuilt in the alternative for art and added a few extra Lego pieces to make it more sturdy! Would not recommend personally.

Good idea, doesn't stay together.

In many of the recent Harry Potter sets they have been lauding the ability to mix and match with other sets to create a whole castle. In that vein various floors are loosely attached to each other to promote the interchange. In this set, the turrets on the top floor are similarly loosely attached which while allowing for easy rebuild variations it does not keep it sturdily in the given formation. I am an adult builder and just moving the set around the table knocked the turrets off multiple times which was irritating. The design and creativity hold up to the rest of the series. My only negative comment is that given the smaller scale of the floors - and especially the turrets - the way the mix and match attachments were deployed does not keep them together as well as I have come to expect from other sets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good additional component to use with the many other building kits to build the Hogwarts school compound. Alternative construction plan works well to build walls overlooking the sea.

Another Modular Hogwarts Set

I was never going to like this set with the price it’s at and for the fact that it’s Modular. I hate the modular system for Harry Potter and especially for Hogwarts. This set is overpriced and the minifigures could have been better—except Voldemort is a welcomed addition in that color. This is one of my least favorite Hogwarts set of the 2018-2023 wave. The building experience was fine, but really not worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nice Lego set, solid 4 stars. Took my 8 year old child only about 2 hours to build, so would have been even better with a bit more challenging pieces. Great details on the stickers, the younger child loves the snake.

This set is as fun to build as for playing with. The open building structure really invites to fantasy a play. Got this for my 8 y old but found my 6 y old building it as the instructions are easy to follow. Also love the Harry Potter mini figures with the older Harry Potter and Voldemort. My girls specially loves the magic battle between the characters. Loving how they connect to other pieces in the Harry Potter series and creating a more fantastic build and play experience.

My greatest dislike of this set is that you really need 2 of them to make a decent entry area. My daughter loves pitting Harry against Valdemort and using Nagini as a whip.

This set took me about 40 minutes to build. The printing on the characters is great, the stickers are great, and I appreciate how it fits with the rest of the Hogwarts sets.

I have collected most of the Harry Potter sets. When I look for these sets I look for stable and how they can connect together. I had many issues with the pieces just breaking once they were together. My set was missing a few pieces and overall it was an okay build.
