Amazing Lego set. Beautiful looking in my living room. Building experience similar to a puzzle, a little repetitive. I really like it.

This was a fantastic set to build and really engaged my son in the original artwork. He had so much fun with this set, we are already looking for the next art set to build.

Amazing but had manufacturing problems

This is an amazing set that I have been wanting fo some time now, which is why I am very sad I cannot give this a 5/5. While the build is beautiful and the experience was amazing my copy had many problems including my instructions not being completely held together and missing 8 pieces. While some I was able to find replacements of from my collection others I had to substitute with incorrect pieces (those that are red).

A True Work of ART

This was my first Lego Art build and my oh my! What a beautiful looking set when complete. I thought it would be a tedious build but it was indeed not. Clicking the main build into the frame was an incredible idea and was such a satisfying finish to the build. Although a great set, it does not really provide any play features so that is why I did not rate this a full 5 stars. I would recommend this to any art enthusiast and Lego collector as it makes a great talking point and decoration. This set makes me want more Lego Art to collect and display, I have high hopes for the future of Lego Art.

Strangely Amusing

The work had an interesting 3D impact. It was not difficult to put together. But there were lots and lots of small pieces and my finger tips were really sore. I had to discipline myself to only build 4 bags of pieces per day - mostly to let my finger tips recover. Just take your time and pay attention to the instruction manual.

My first set in the LEGO art line and it looks amazing. I learned about this woodblock print back in college art history. It translates beautifully to brick form and does so for a great value. No cheaping out with stickers as it has 3 different custom printed bricks. That is a great detail to make this a solid wall hanger.

I would say having this in your own home is having the piece of artwork right there. All i could say its not small or huge. Its the size of actual artwork maybe you see in a museum. It takes awhile need music and netflix to build it

A bit heavy...not a complaint. It just is. Now, I am trying to figure out where and how to hang it.

Amazing Lego Art

Having seen the real painting I knew I had to purchase this set, and I can say it is a very faithful representation of the real painting. Great fun to build and looks amazing on the wall, from a distance it looks like the real Hokusai The Wave painting. A bit tricky to build as you have to pay attention to the instructions to make sure the pieces are placed in the right location and in the right position, but I enjoyed the challenge. Highly recommended

This is my second Lego art set (after the World Map!) and I really enjoyed putting it together. Really great unwinding activity, both with the accompanying soundtrack or with a movie in the background. Now where to display it...

I saw this on sale and decided to treat myself. It was such a delight to see the 3D scene come to life as I was building and the finished effect with the use of the flowers and birds is amazing. It's a really beautiful piece of art but slightly let down by the frame with some of the white tiles being of slightly different shades. It's very easy to remove the picture from the frame to display it. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I hung it from my wall it fell off and broke

I bought this it was hung from the wall, I guess the wall anchor wasnt strong enough, so it fell and shattered, and I cant find all the pieces. But lucky for me this is a famous painting, so I was able to get a print online, and when that one fell off of my wall. It didnt shatter. I would just recommend getting a painting.

A Calming Experience

I live in Houston and the night before Hurricane Beryl hit I started this Lego art project. I finished it in the next few days with no power and to be honest, it helped distract me from what we were dealing with. That alone was worth the money spent. At 1,800+ pieces it adds three dimensions and value to what might be considered one of the best examples of mass produced pieces of art ever created. Even Hokusai's original work was mass produced by him so the trend continues but this adds to it in an amazing way. The night before Beryl hit I scanned the QR code to listen to the commentary and it really added to the experience. It was a brilliant idea on behalf of Lego that added even more value to this set. The build was enjoyable, the instructions easy to understand, and the way the art attached to the frame was brilliant. Good job Lego!
