Wide Fit Leather Block Heel Ankle Boots

I ordered a 5 and a 6 in these wide fit boots as people said they are a bit on the small side. I felt the 5 was true to size as wider than the normal fit. I managed to put in my thick hospital insoles and they went in nicely and still room for my foot. Although due to being just one zip and not a hush puppy style they are quite difficult to get my foot into them without a shoehorn. I’ve got a fairly flat foot and was pleased with the fit along with my orthotics. It’s hard trying to find footwear that accommodates the bulkiness and still looks stylish. I think the lovely soft leather helps as it gives easily. A nice smart boot in a dark silver (pewter) colour. Re the sole people mention. They are a true leather sole, so the stitching is visible on the bottom and customary to wear out quickly on this type of sole, so I’m going to get a further thin sole and heel added to maintain the longevity and protect my investment lol. The size 6 was only fractionally bigger than the 5. I don’t know if this is usual in a 5 vs 6 sizing, but maybe worth considering. Overall very happy with these boots.
