Really nice and a difference to other holders, as another customer said though the plate inside is not set straight and cannot alter, need a bit of imaginative additions to make a candle sit straight. That's a shame and M&S should really get it sorted, but great apart from that.

No, I don't recommend this
Unfortunately the metal holder within the glass candle holder was not level and, therefore, it was not possible to safely hold a lighted candle. Sadly this holder is glued in and all attempts to move it failed and resulted in a very small chip in the glass. Had the metal holder been level, it would have been really pretty.
