Ghost Max 3 Running Trainers

I had to downgrade my review. These are fairly comfortable but after 6 months, there is a hole on the top where my big toe is. This has happened to all of my Ghosts ( 4 pair) and it's very disappointing. I wear these only for work maybe 3-4 days out of the week. I have another pair in a different color that I wear less and after 8 months also getting a hole in the same place. Same thing happened to my other two pair of original Ghosts. The seam tape on the inside of the toe on both pairs is also delaminating. Won't buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a hip replacement 8 weeks ago and the Ghost Max 3 has helped my balance and stability during physical therapy and on the treadmill. The cushion takes the weight off joints and provides support in my heels and toes.

I was really happy with these and the stability wearing these sneakers are amazing. I tried to wear my old pair of sneakers again and immediately started getting foot strain and pain. Switched back to this pair and felt better. So glad I took a chance on these sneakers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ghost Max 3 was a life saver when I had a fractured metatarsal! With its deep and wide toe box it provided all the comfort I need. Now that I am running again it's all I want in a running shoes. I am also a nurse. Always on my feet and they are the best shoe I've had. Love the colors, too!

I loved the Ghost Max and Ghost Max 2. The Ghost Max 3 has a plastic piece on the outside just under the heel collar. For some reason, this makes it stiffer than previous versions, and the heel collar digs into the outside of my ankle. I'm hoping the Ghost Max 4 will be like previous versions, with an all-fabric outside and around the heel collar. I've been running in the Ghost Max ever since it was introduced. I'm not sure I can go back to the Ghost since I'm now accustomed to the cushion/stability of the Ghost Max. I've purchased the last Ghost Max 2 in my size that I can find online ... getting nervous about what to use as a replacement when I need shoes in a few weeks. :(
