Elegant Dress for Work
I bought this both in the Red & this Blue. Annoyingly, even though I chose my regular M&S brand clothing size, both of these 2 dresses from Finery London were too small. I then returned them both and bought them both in the next size up. The Blue one fit better in the next size up, but the Red one, because it was a different material, it was still too small. Also, the material for the Red one meant that for us curvier ladies, it was showing everything underneath the fabric, underwear lines, rolls of fat etc. The Blue one was far more forgiving and elegant. I returned the Red one and kept the Blue. I've given this 4 stars out of 5 because of the faff with the sizing and the fact that the Red version of this dress was still too small even though they are supposed to be the same.

The colour is lovely and rich and the buttons are pearly and sweet. The fabric is crepe but the thinner type which is why the price is so reasonable. The style is swishy and the puff sleeve top and finishing is good. I am a standard size 12 and this is a generous fit. The bust is a little on the big side for me so I had to return it. For the price, this is a spot on dress. For £69 it’s never going to match Prada or Dior but it is still good.
