Unwrap the puff pastry (1 pack) sheet onto a large baking tray. Grate the fridge cold marzipan (60 g) over the pastry, going right up to the edges.

Arrange the thinly sliced plums (4) over the pastry, fanning them out to make a pretty pattern.

Sprinkle with caster sugar (30 g) and flaked almonds (40 g), then finish with the orange zest (1)

Bake at 200°C/180°C fan/gas mark 4 until the pastry is puffed up and golden and the plums are soft and juicy. This should take 10-15 minutes.

Finish with a final dusting of icing sugar (to taste), and enjoy warm with a drizzle of cream (to taste) as a dessert, or at room temperature with a cuppa.
