It’s a lovely sleeping bag, gorgeous quality keeps little one really cosy , however it definitely runs large so for 12months I’d say this is to big. (My little one is big for his age) I also have never felt so stressed trying to connect the zip up to do it up in the dark as I don’t settle my little one off in a lit room or he won’t ever go to sleep. First sleeping bag I’ve come across that’s not already connected this is like doing up a coat it connects at the top then you zip it down to the bottom. Just think the zip could of been done differently

Soft and warm

Soft and warm and baby seems happy in it. However, the zip fabric is a bit stiff so excess space in the length can make it lump up at the top near baby's face. Need to smooth it down once on so the excess fabric zip bump is down baby's body not up. Also had a bit of a smell on arrival, but a wash fixed this.

Covers face of baby- not suitable
No, I don't recommend this
My baby is 13 months and the neck opening fully covers her face. Definitely not suitable for babies of this age, let alone 6mo as stated. This NEEDS to be reviewed as it does not meet the safety criteria. Got a refund.

Warma and cosy
The sleeping bag keeps my little one lovely and warm including his arms. I'm not a fan of velour but this is personal preference

I thought sleeveless sleeping bags weren’t quite keeping my baby warm enough, and he’d often have quite cold hands. Very glad to have found this sleeved option and he’s definitely not as cold at night
