Underwhelmed

First run was a disappointment: immediately you notice how wide the foot box is - it doesn’t feel like your foot is stable in there. The run feel “flat,” there’s no propulsion as you transition from foot strike/plant to push off, there’s no bounce. It’s comfy, but it’s a relatively boring and underwhelming shoe. Not what I expected. I wore the triumph 20’s before this - a much better shoe in my opinion.

I bought these to run a half marathon in . Very comfortable and supportive shoe . I’ve ran in Hoka’s for years but will now stick with Saucony . The veterans discount is a great plus too !

There's a Place Here for an Extra-Wide

Coming up on 300 miles and I'm pleased with the Triumph 22. I'm in the wide but definitely would be happier in an extra-wide version if there was one. The Triumph 22 has more shoe than the Echelon 9, especially in the heel stack height. That is the primary reason I switched from the Echelon 9 to the Triumph 22. However, the Echelon 9 does come in an extra-wide. Giving-up space within the shoe is a big price for me to pay. I'll get by, but please accept this as constructive criticism. I'd love to be able to stay in the Triumph versions going forward.

Great workout shoes

I love the fit that the Triumph 22 provides me. After buying the first pair I purchased a second pair that I rotate for gym workouts. The Triumphs are very comfortable and didn’t require any break in period.

Fit was more snug and cushion less supportive then the 20’s. Bring back the triumph 20’s. I wanted an every day training shoe and now I’m still looking.

I have enjoyed training in the triumph shoe for many years. The 22 model has proved to be another high performing shoe in the Triumph line. Superb cushioning and excellent fitting features.

Too much volume in the upper and it folds over. Got a few hot spots in the base of big toe

Big step back from the Triumph 21

I couldn’t wait to purchase these immediately after putting 300 miles on my Triumph 21s, which were among my favorite everyday running shoes of all time. Unfortunately, everywhere the 21 went right, the 22 went wrong. What was originally a light, reactive, responsive shoe became a bulky, over-stacked, stiff replacement. Just 50 miles in, and injuries that I have never experienced are now creeping in, rendering me unable to keep using these. I had such high hopes after such a positive experience with the Triumph 21, but these were a huge step back.

I purchased the Triumph last month in my local running store. I am literally a runner of 45 years w/out interruption. I have been running in Hoka for 8 years. I always have 4 fresh pairs of shoes to alternate. The Hoka's caused severe pain on my right foot toes over the last 6 months. Horrible pain but I kept running. I now have 3 Triumph's and a Hurricane which is great. Better cushion, quality and more stability than Hoka's. I ran in a Saucony for my Sub3 marathon years ago. I am back with this iconic brand. Ty!

Super comfortable. I am prone to achilles issues, and when it's flaring up this shoe can be the only shoe I have that works. Roomy, soft and plush.
