We highly recommend this cake, we decorated it ourselves but when it arrives it is just as beautiful. The texture and flavour of each cake was absolutely perfect, it was very moist and couldn't be faulted in any way. Thank you to M & S for making our day perfect. We also ordered a selection of party food as well for the evening which was self catered again perfect. You will not go wrong if you order this cake.

Looked good but we threw half of it away! When the fruit tier was cut (which was the largest tier) it crumbled up so much that we couldn't serve it to our guests- we expected much better from M and S- very disappointed on the most special day of our lives- would not recommend

We ordered this for our wedding reception in June and it did not disappoint. We had ordered the taster cakes earlier in the year and were really impressed with the flavour and texture of the cakes. We were able to collect from a store of out choice, which was close to the venue, the cakes were in perfect condition and the instructions to stack the cakes were very easy to follow. The cake looked really impressive, even before we added coloured ribbon and flowers and was complimented by all of our guests. All the cakes tasted gorgeous and there was more than enough to go around for all of the guests at the reception. In fact we had enough left to then give to friends and relatives who were unable to attend our celebration. I cannot recommend this cake highly enough. It was extremely good value for the cost. Easy to order, well packaged and very helpful customer services personal. we thought it looked better in real life than the pictures and were so please with it. We added purple ribbon to go with the White and had a flower display on the top tier, it looked fab. We had so may commemts on the cake which every body enjoyed

Ordering process was easy. Picked up well packaged cakes. Set up at venue. Ordered pink peony sugar craft flower for top tier. Made a Dior bow and attached a pearl and diamante brooch. Around each tier of the cake I bought pearl and diamante ribbon, easy to attach to cake with dress makers pearl headed pins. Cake was displayed on white cake stand, underneath I put rows of cheap pearls and some heart battery operated lights which I lit up to set off the cake. Cake was lovely, tried the fruit cake. The chocolate cake I redecorate with ribbons and candles for my daughter's birthday the next week and that cake was really tasty. The middle tier was still being eaten 2 weeks after the anniversary party. Well worth the money and to have a choice of three different cakes was really good. Originally I was going to go for the decorate your own cake, glad I changed my mind, the tiers on this cake are a lot bigger than the create your own

After loving the fruit cake from m&s and buying it pretty much for every birthday and Christmas for the last few years, we had to buy a m&s wedding cake. We weren't disappointed. It's plain to decorate yourself which I like. I bought some sugar paste flowers to put on the top and the sides of the cake. It looked fantastic and matched my m&s flower bouquet perfectly! It tasted yummy too, unfortunately I didn't get to try the chocolate layer, it went quick! It came well packaged so no worries about getting it to the venue. Thanks m&s!

Wedding cakes can cost a ridiculous amount of money, but M+S have made this part of your wedding come in under budget. Customer services were extremely helpful in answering numerous questions I had, the ordering and collection process was easy, and assembly was not a problem. I customised my cake with ribbon to match my theme, and decorated the top with a topper a friend made. Simple, but extremely effective and visually stunning. Slight negative is the portion count - 150 portions is based on 1 inch square pieces, so realistically you're getting 70 portions. Knowing everyone loves cake, we ordered a couple of cutting bars aswell and all the cake went. was yummy! Extremely good value for money and would definitely recommend

Asked to do my daughter's wedding cake, I bought the Romantic Pearl cake and personalised it. I was thrilled with the quality of service received from staff, with the effectiveness of packaging, with the fantastic appearance of the cake, with the ease of ''personalisability', and most importantly, with the taste! The guests were extremely impressed, as was the bride. This turned my nightmare of months into a dream overnight! i would recommend anyone to do the same!

We had 5 weeks to arrange our wedding so no time to go to an expensive wedding cake designer. We both love M and S Christmas fruit cake so we ordered this cake. It was perfect! It looked lovely when it was all put together and it tasted delicious! There was plenty for our 80 guest and my husband is pleased that there was some left over for him to bring home!

After being quoted more than twice the cost of this cake by a local company for a similar cake, I decided to order from M&S and was not disappointed. The cake looked beautiful with a fresh flower home-made topper, and all three tiers were delicious. The bottom tier was packed with fruit and very moist. It was easier to stack than I thought it would be. I am really pleased with everything, thank you.

This cake arrived on time was packed very well, and the taste was absolutely fabulous couldn't have been any better. Wouldn't even consider having a cake from anywhere else from now on.

Having been quoted elsewhere in the region of £500 for a simple 3 tiered wedding cake, we decided to go for the Romantic pearl wedding cake from Marks and Spencer. We collected it the day before the wedding and it was exceptionally well packaged. It tasted great, looked great and cost less than half the price of something that would probably have tasted nowhere near as good. Well done M&S.

We bought a three tiered version of this for our wedding in August, with a fruit, chocolate and lemon mix. All three variants were delicious and our guests commented on the flavours. The icing is really thick on each cake too. The fruit cake in particular was packed with fruit, jus as it should be The simple design allowed us to decorate with ribbon to our colour scheme and add a personalised cake topper.

I was very pleased with the quality of the baking - all cakes tasted lovely. I had always intended to decorated the cake further, but was disappointed with the pearl decoration so I took it off and started again. I would recommend just buying a plain iced cake.
