Sizing is Crazy

Originally posted on www.whitestuff.com

No, I don't recommend this

The sizing on this is bananas. I ordered a 46 because I have a 46" chest - that is the actual measurement from an actual tape measure I actually own. Since the web page here says the garment is true to size, I thought I was in with a good chance of receiving a blazer that actually fits. Not so! The allegedly size 46 blazer I received was mahooosive.... huge.... cavernous.... Stop Making Sense style enormous - that bit in the film 'Big' where the little boy wears Tom Hank's suit type ludicrous. This wasn't just a relaxed fit, it's wasn't a style statement, it didn't look cool in any way... it was just multiple sizes too big in all dimensions. What gives? No human male with a 46" chest was ever going to look right in this blazer. I sent it straight back! (The matching trousers, which I also ordered, were completely off the wall too.)
