Pure Merino Wool Ribbed Half Zip Jumper

Purchased for my husband as a Christmas gift. His choice was ‘a quarter zip merino wool jumper’ - I chose Peregrine as, unlike most others on the market, it was made in the UK. His normal size is XL and the fit was perfect. The wool itself - although appearing coarse - was soft to the touch. What I really disliked about it was the pilling. On removing it from it plastic wrap it was absolutely covered in tiny blobs of wool - my husband tried it on, moved, and they started again. I’m afraid I couldn’t deal with that prospect every time he wore it, not to mention washing it, so unfortunately it’s going back. I do have to say it looked far better on my husband in person than it did online, so don’t be put off if you can deal with the pilling it’s a lovely jumper.
