Pure Cotton Scoop Neck Midi Waisted Dress

Good quality dress. Full skirt, sits quite high on the waist. Pockets add something to it, the skirt is a good length on me (5'10"), nice contrast between the ribbed vest and poplin skirt.

It's a nice dress - very wearable - not as luxurious as the photo suggests - far more light and flimsy. But having pockets is always a bonus and it's a nice length on someone about 5ft 5 inches. What I was more shocked by was that such a pricey garment would come folded in a tiny bag and so it is totally creased. Not something any customer should have to experience when paying such a price for a dress. I suspect the supplier is giving it to M&S like that - but perhaps M&S could suggest they should not. It's not good enough. Also, there's an inconsistency in sizing. This dress in Size 12 in brown - and the same size in black - have proved not to be the same size. Come on Albaray - your customers deserve better.

I think this is a lovely dress. Good quality and looks like the picture. I have to exchange it as it came up large but can’t wait to wear it. Can be easily dressed up or down. The cotton skirt bit is a little heavy but not overly, just indicative of the quality. I’m 5ft 2 and usually a size 10 and am sizing down to an 8.
