Pure Cotton Checked Pyjamas (1-16 Years)

My daughter needed some front-opening pyjamas for a trip to hospital. The ones from M&S were the only ones we could find. They were delivered as schedule, and are perfect. She is aged 7, but generally takes a size 9, so that is what we ordered. They are a perfect size; good for now, but plenty of growing room. As an aside, could you maybe just have children’s sleepwear in one category and allow searching by sub-type? It would have made finding the type of pyjamas my daughter needed, and then choosing her favourite fabric much easier, rather than have to look in “girls” and “boys” sections separately to allow her to find her favourite! I am sure they are all cut the same at this age?

Bought these pyjamas for my average sized 12 year old. They are really lovely quality but... Size 11-12 were so small he couldn’t bend his arms. Swapped them for size 13-14 and they were so big they’d have fitted his dad. What a waste of time going backwards and forwards to buy and exchange them and still ending up with no pyjamas! Very annoying. Where on earth do you get your sizes from?

Lovely soft cotton pyjamas in a soft shade of blue check. What a terrible shame the sizing is completely off - the age 15-16 size were absolutely enormous! Please M&S, can you make your sizing consistent & realistic? Not all 15-16 year olds are 6 feet giants!
