Power Shift Raceway Playset (5+ Yrs)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This latest version of Hot Wheels Power Shift Raceway has a totally different color scheme (more eye-catching colors) compared to their previous version, and as usually, easy to setup . Basically, this set contains two stands on opposite sides to support the steep-turn curve and the drop-in ramp, one big 360 degree loop, and one battery powered speed booster. This set also comes with 5 cars which is an additional bonus. Once you drop a car in the drop-in ramp, the fun started, the car will run endlessly in the loop until some "accident" happened. There is no fun if there is no Hot Wheels car crash, right? Add more cars to the loop! They will chase each other and CRASH! Just like any other How Wheels set, not all cars are suitable for this setup. Some car can't make it through the loop no matter how you try. During the try-and-error process, we learned about which types of cars can make it or not, and why. You can also not install the drop-in ramp as indicated in the box cover. Now you get a car flying contest! See how much distance you car can fly over!

It was a bit of a challenge putting it together, trying to determine from the pics which stickers went where/which way, but still only took maybe 20 minutes from start to finish. He has had so much fun playing with this and loved the car selection that came with it, which was a nice touch. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids, 8 & 5 years old, loved playing with the Hot Wheels Power Shift Raceway Track! We were surprised at how big the box actually was, it’s a complete set that even includes some cars, which they love collecting. It was easy for them to set it up and put all the pieces together and it was a toy they both were able to play with. The great thing about these tracks is that you can put them together with other sets and make even bigger tracks and it’s something they can do on their own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son had fun playing with this toy. It was easy to set up and it was more compact than some other sets. My son liked blasting his cars around the big loop. A little different spin from the regular race track!

The fact that the cars stay on the track and keep looping makes it easy to play with. He loves trying to get as many cars as possible going at once without crashing. The connection to the base does seem to get loose (but we've been playing hard) which caused the cars to crash. A piece of cardboard wedged in solved the problem!

It requires batteries,but once those are installed the fun is endless. My 6year old and 3year old played with this for hours. And it comes with cars! Great quality, easy install, and endless fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So cool! First set with a motorized booster station. This set delivers the fun. Kids have enjoyed dropping their cars in, to do continuous loops or just to watch them crash. Best loop record so far was 45 times around without a crash. Bonus was the 5 included cars. Easy to assemble, even a 6/7 year old could it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awsome track booster and loop set! This is very good set to add too an ongoing track collection. The speed booster is a favorite of my son. The five cars that come with the set are a good variety. Great for anyone, keeps a childs intrest for hours.
