Pike Lake II Hooded Puffer Jacket

It’s a nice coat but it’s a bit too short for the body. It looks like it should be longer. The warmth is fine but I need to wear a sweater underneath to protect from the cold excuse of the shortened length

I had the Labyrinth jacket for about 3 years, and it was a bit big. I needed a new one and was trying to decide between the Pike Lake™ II Hooded Jacket or the Cloudview™ Down Hooded Jacket. I tend to get warm easily, so when I went to the Columbia store to try them on, I went with the Pike Lake™ II. It was the perfect length and fit better. I usually wear a large, but I ended up buying a medium. When I tried on the Cloudview, the medium was too tight, and the large fit better, but it was a bit longer than the Pike Lake. The point of this is that every jacket fits differently, and what you see online might not be what you expect when it arrives. So, I suggest trying on the jacket you want first before buying it online and then complaining about the size and fit.

Runs too large. Ordered S as I usually wear M but it is still too large and too long.

Very warm,nice fit though go for a smaller size or two....not wore in the rain so cant comment on that..hopefully lasts a good while though its good value coat for the price

The coat is lite and warm.I like how you can tighten the coat with draw strings.The hood is not detachable.It has a inside pocket to put your cell phone in.Over all a nice warm coat.

Drawstring hem and adjustable cuffs are great features and it"s the perfect length. Cloth pockets linings feel cheap, other than that it's perfect.

I really wanted to like this jacket -- the functionality (e.g. the extra pockets and zippers), the design, the silhouette etc, but ultimately, as many other reviews here have mentioned, this ended up being way too large. I'd purchased both the M (in brown) and the L (in black) of this model, but they feel respectively like L-XL and XL-XXL to be honest. Which is a shame; I was hoping the M would fit, as L sometimes fits, but even the M size of this model is quite large. Apart from the sizing issue, it was very comfy and as mentioned above, had many features I originally wanted that are great for both casual daily wear and winter sports activities. I ended up returning both jackets and getting a different model Columbia jacket, but I can see this product fitting a larger bodied person well. If you would like to buy this jacket, definitely go for a size(or even two perhaps) smaller!
