Nourishing Night Facial Tanning Crème 50ml

Was sceptical as there are mixed reviews but glad I took gamble, it's now my favourite night cream by far. Not sticky on application, very smooth and silky texture but not too thick or runny. I can smell only sometimes after applying it but there is certainly no biscuity stench and no stains to my pillow which is a plus. It is a white cream. Smell is definitely better than alternatives i've tried in the past. I find the packaging good as you don't need to keep dipping your fingers in the pot, but push down slowly when you use it for the first time.

I can't say that I am a massive fan of fake tan...mainly because of the smell, the mess and the effort. That said, I dislike having a face that is noticeably paler than the rest of me, so I thought I would give this a go. I love the packaging design - no unhygienic pots which require finger dipping...this you just press down once and you get the perfect amount for one application. I applied it after cleansing with my Clarisonic, in place of my normal night time moisturiser and my skin felt instantly hydrated. When I woke up, I could definitely notice a subtle difference in my skin tone and, after using it for a week (every other night), I had built up a great colour...finally I matched my body!! Will definitely try other products from this range.

Not impressed at all for several reasons. Claims it doesn't have the horrible fake tan smell but on using I discovered quickly that this was clearly wasn't true with my pillow and skin developing the unmistakeable biscuity smell. Says can be used on consecutive nights. Just as well as it took about 5 nights persevering with the smell and the inefficient and uneconomical pump before I saw any great difference. In the end I unscrewed the top and used my fingers but this only resulted in not being able to reseal the pot. There are better and cheaper would be my summary.

Wasn't particularly happy with the fragrance although I appreciate it is needed to cover the tanning chemical's smell, could be more subtle. On use my arms became quite itchy and 3 days in the orange hue was developing the orange tint of those teenagers who get it so wrong with cheaper makes. I also found the lid to be poorly fitting and had to cling film the top closed to keep the product fresh in the even the short time that I persevered. Disappointing experience.
