Linen Blend Denim Shirred Midaxi Drop Waist Skirt

I bought the set of skirt and blouse - the fabric is good quality and I love the style.

A slightly different item for me (usually trousers) is lovely, I just need to get used to it! Sized down as had seen others recommend on social media - still on larger size.

Love the skirt but I ordered petite (yes they had petite!) but it was no shorter than regular? Please M&S start listening to your customers and get petite in dresses and skirts there are many short older women! So disappointing as you are missing a market for us petite women.

Lovely skirt. A good length on me (5’8’’) and versatile so can be dressed up or down. Quality of the fabric is also good - not too thin.

Will be a very useful skirt and fits well owing to comfortable shirted waist As there is no shirt/petite option I had to get quite a lot chopped off and shortened as I am only 5’

Really lovely material, can be worn now with trainers or boots. Will look great with flip flops too. Bang on trend.

sizing on the larger side so get a size lower! The shirring is quite loose. Nonetheless it’s a fabulous skirt.

Love this skirt but it's massive - I'm normally and 18 and ended up in a size 12. I'm 5ft 8 and normally order long but regular length was perfect this time - all in all the sizing seems to be way off on this skirt, so it's necessary to order a smaller size than normal

Love this skirt. Very much a look of the moment. The panel around the stomach is super comfortable and very flattering. Great color and will be worn lots once the weather improves.

I’m a standard M&S size 12 short. This skirt is huge, I ended up ordering a size 8 short. The fit was good, length like model but it made me look very frumpy, returned.

Up to the minute styling which is easy to wear. Fabulous fabric with excellent drape.

It's a lovely skirt but frustratingly, I had to reorder in a smaller size. It was falling off me in my usual M&S size 14. The sizing has generally been very inconsistent recently with some items in my usual size way too small and others, like this skirt, way too big. Otherwise, the fabric is lovely - it was an interesting weave that looks like denim but is very lightweight and quite smart looking. I'm sure I'll get a lot of wear out of this during the summer.

I usually take a size 6 or 8 in a skirt. As M&S don't stock a 6 Long, I initially ordered a size 8 Long as I wanted the extra length. It was waaaay too big - more like a size 12, although I loved the length. I returned this and ordered a size 6, which, although a little big, I might be able to get away with. Sadly it is not as long as I would like, and hangs strangely on the one side. I tried to order another 6 in-store only to find that all 6's were sold out online. Strangely enough all other sizes up to 20 were available, (22 and 24 were sold out). Does this not tell you something M&S? Also, if you can cater for sizes 22 and 24, why can't you cater for size 4, or at least stock a true size 6? (a Long option would be great). M&S are stocking some great designs, but I am so weary of having to second guess which size, if any, is going to fit me. M&S need to offer consistent, true, standard sizes. So much unnecessary work/expense must be created by inaccurate and inconsistent sizing.
