I got this set as I've always wanted a Captain Rex and was so glad Lego released this set as it shows they appreciate all there customers and not just the entitled greedy collectors who think if we arent rich then we shouldnt be able to have the good minifigs , well sorry but Lego is made for everyone to enjoy so stop complaining and enjoy your sets

Another really good addition to the microfighter family. It's cool to see Lego make a favorite character that hasn't been in the forefront for awhile. I wish the original ship had a bit more pizzaz, the build ends up feeling a little flat, but it's perfect for play and swooshing.

Really just bought this set for the minifigure. Detail on the face, helmet, and armor are great. Only one problem, there's no waist cape. (Though I do appreciate the felt shoulder cape. That's a step up from previous detail on Star Wars minifigs.) The micro fighter is average. Overall pretty good.

Obviously the majority of people purchasing this lego set are doing so in order to get the one and only captain Rex so with that in mind; it’s a good set for the price for sure. I would’ve personally preferred if he had come with a larger scale Y-wing it would’ve done the character more justice but nonetheless it’s a good set for the value and if you’re looking to add Rex to your collection here he is.

Microfighters have long been one of the better sets Lego Star Wars makes. There are very few good cheap sets for Lego Star Wars (like other licensed themes have). Microfighters are the one lonely good series that is cheap. This particular set is one of the better ones as it includes a desirable mini figure for kids and collectors. The best micro fighter sets include either unique minifigures (like Theron Nett in the X-wing years ago), or hard to find mini figures like Captain Rex. More of these types of microfighters would be a good thing for Lego Star Wars (specifically ones that have unique characters, or hard to get characters). The builds are relatively good as well (the best was the Star Destroyer one) and present fun play opportunities. Please make more like this Lego.

Lego never promised this minifigure was exclusive to the UCS Venator, and I think making it available to everyone was a great choice. Some people don't like the leg printing, but the whole figure is awesome.
