Fun and perfect for a HP Lego collector

Originally posted on influenster.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LEGO Harry Potter Buckbeak set is a fantastic mix of fun and display, with its big, detailed version of the Hippogriff that you can pose in different ways. (Hey! I'm a poet and didn't even know it!) It even has a little bonus scene of Hagrid's garden with little pumpkins. My 12-year-old daughter is a huge fan of both LEGO and Harry Potter, and really enjoyed this LEGO set. It took her about an hour to put together, and she said she had a lot of fun doing it. There were extra leftover pieces, which is typical for LEGO sets, but she was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a Hagrid or Sirius Black mini-figure. She is super excited to add the Buckbeak to her display of her Harry Potter LEGO collection.

Good set, good build, good value

I like the overall design of the build. I like the set doesnt include a minifig, all that would do is make the set more expensive. The minifig also wouldnt look like any of the characters. I would want to see other fantasy creatures from harry potter depicted in Lego. Maybe a manticore or a gorgan? IDK just putting ideas out there.

Buckbeak! Legos!

Originally posted on influenster.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lego sets are so fun. Harry Potter Lego sets are amazing. This Buckbeak is just the right amount of challenging and fun for me and my 11 year old to put together. Lots of pieces so it occupied us for a couple evening sessions after work and school. Great bonding activity with your children or really just by yourself it is good for calming and getting off the screens. The age recommendation is appropriate and there are lots of tiny pieces. Not for small children.

Yer Always Wait Fer the Hippogriff Ter Make the First Move

Originally posted on influenster.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this Lego build. Buckbeak is absolutely adorable and it was great to bring him to life. The build was simple with the 150+ page step by step instruction booklet that is included and with the 7 separate bags to break up the blocks. The 753 piece set took a couple of hours to build while taking my time but provides a lot of entertainment. This one is a must have.

Fun

Originally posted on influenster.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child loves Legos, so when this arrived, it was like Christmas! This is time-consuming since this has 723 pieces. But it is not hard to follow the directions and assemble. I think this took a total of 2 1/2 hours to put together, but my child stopped to eat lunch and watch a movie with the family. So I think this would not take as long to assemble if you did not take a break. The griffins mouth opens and closes. The legs are also movable as well as the wings. Everything came in individual bags, each numbered to help you follow along with the directions that come in the box. It is fun to assemble and keeps kids busy as well as adults.

Durable and fun to build!

Originally posted on influenster.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set was really fun to put together, the instructions were clear and easy for me and my 6 year old to follow. It’s durable after it’s built, my son has played with it and nothing is falling apart. My only comment is I wish it would have come with a few minifig characters because it’s just the buckbeak and some pumpkins.

Buckbeak is a great build for the dollar amount. The size compliments the other animal sets such as the Phoenix, The Horntail and the Owl.

Buckbeak fits in perfectly with other Harry Potter sets. When my daughter build the set, she found it was very fun to build and not as tricky as she thought. The way Buckbeaks poses pose, make jt come alive and help replicate the movies. She also has Fawkes, Hedwig and The Hungarian Horntail, she said that it completes her bird/ dragon collection. Her LEGO Harry Potter collection is growing more and more. Overall a lovely little build.
