I bought these for my husband in the sale. He has not worn sandals before - he prefers shoes/boots and socks. However, during this hot Summer he has had these sandals on his feet all the time, declaring them the most comfortable shoes he has had!

These sandals are good, with one exception. Under the small toe area of the right sandal is a lump in the base of the sandal which feels like a stone has stuck there. But examining the sandal there is no stone. Instead the leather upper, where it fits into the base, has pushed up the sole making a small lump. This makes the sandal uncomfortable after a very short distance. However, since the item is now worn, I can hardly take it back, even though it is just a week old. Even trying these on before purchase, I would not have detected this fault. You have to wear them to find out. So if you are considering these - beware.

The sandals are robust and look good. The straps allow for adjustment for individual feet. The sandals were hard and uncomfortable at first due to the moulded sole not being the same shape as my feet. Presumably this has been moulded for the average foot. After a few weeks, the sole began to reshape itself. I found that the front straps sometimes ruck up and need smoothing down.

We bought these sandals for my husband in 2017 in a size 10 which fitted well. Trying to replace them this year has been difficult - we ordered the same size but these are just not wide enough with the straps barely fastening. We tried an 11, which was much too large, but there are no half sizes. Very disappointed.

A nice looking pair of leather strapped sandals. The have slightly contoured insole and a good solid outer sole. The velcro fastening is a little awkward but not majorly. A comfortable fit and the 2 strap means it's not confining to toes.

Excellent sandals. Comfortable fit, smart but casual looking. The three Velcro straps work a treat to allow easy adjustment to suit my feet and a secure hold. Probably need to wear them some time to 'wear them in'' but so far they are ideal.

Poor stitching on inside of straps leaving stitching knots which chafed against the side of foot . Also accompanied by a returns label which indicates that they had previously been rejected and returned! Overall very poor product and service & not what i expect from M&S.

Old Sandals were wearing out - was shocked to see the prices of some offerings elsewhere - these ones from M&S were half the price of high street shoe retailers, but were so comfortable that after a couple of weeks I came back and bought a 2nd pair

Went out of my way to purchase these sandles as I had gift vouchers to use and they looked good. The fit was okay but I found the footbed very firm with little cushioning. The lower strap on my left sandle has rubbed a sore patch on the top of my foot. The right side was no problem. I now wish I had gone for a different sandle and saved my gift vouchers. This after a 48 mile round trip to pick them up from the store as I was using gift vouchers.
