I totally agree with the low-star reviewers below. The coat looked so stylish on the photograph, but I didn't notice the "hairy" fabric when I viewed it on my phone. It is truly horrible and the colour is a weird blend of orange, pink and red. Returned.

Fabric is nothing like the photo, the pile is really long and shaggy (likely to fuzz and pills) and it's a weird mixture of bright orange and lurid fuschia pink! Not red at all. I've never seen anything like it! It's more like something you'd see on a monster from Sesame Street: not the look I'm going for.

This is quite a hairy fabric, as per the close-up photo, but it certainly isn't red. The background to the fabric is a rust/orange colour and really quite bizarrely, the hair part is fucha pink! Now I look at the close-up image I can see this, but it didn't register when ordering - maybe as it's described as bright red. I ordered a 16 regular as I am 14/16 and had very recently kept a 16 dress in preference to a 14. This 16 however was massive (I did want room for layers, but the front could overlap by 8 inches) and the sleeves were very long. I was considering buying a smaller size until my sister told me it looked like I'd got it from a charity shop. A great shame as I really like this style and length of coat.
