LOVE Ghosts but not the Black and White one

I love Ghost shoes. I've been wearing them for many years now and constantly buy the next one. LOVE the Ghost Trail one too. SO GLAD you made them. But the black and white version of Ghost 17 and others for some reason do not fit well. I have the other colors and they fit great, but the black and white one....this one in particular does not feel like the others at all. Disappointed. I will not order that color again in any of the versions. Which limits me because you do not make the wide version in very many colors which is what I need now. PLEASE make all the colors in wide too!

Wore for two hrs and I was in so much pain I had to buy a pair of shoes to make it through my shift. The shoes sit now in the backseat of my car cause I can't return to store cause I wore them.

I have worn the Ghost in the same size for years. The 17 was much longer and a little wider. This was too big for me. I also dislike the higher ankle collar. Is the Ghost becoming a Hoka copycat? I returned them. It's back to the running g store to try other brands and styles.

Uneven footing

Unfortunately they had to be returned. The right insole was uneven, causing discomfort when I ran. I’ve worn Ghosts for many years, and thankfully this is the only pair I had to return.

Overall, great underfoot cushioning to absorb impact from running on the roads, and perfect fit all around my feet. Brooks has very consistent sizing and widths which makes for easy online purchases. I'm hoping they realize that folks that need wides and extra wides like color too and not just black, grey, and white!

A little diffferent than "Ghosts of the Past"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing Brooks Ghost since Ghost 13, so it has long been a favorite. While I like the looks of the Ghost 17, I did find that the toe box was a bit more constrictive than previous versions. The shoe is a bit loftier, as well, so I have to be careful to keep that in mind when I am walking.

Like the feel of the sole but the sides are too high and are irritating my ankle bone. It’s as if all the material is stitched and stiff there.

I was an avid runner for 35 years until I broke my leg 2 years ago-it's taken that long to rehab and I chose Ghost 17 as my first pair of running shoes to wear as I slowly start my way back to running. Pretty light and if you take care of them you’ll get plenty of runs with them! I have tried all the big names and these are the only ones I have found to be worth the hype!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe so far isn’t bad. They don’t feel like you floating on clouds, but they did provide enough support after a 16 mile run. I definitely suggest to break them in for a few day before a long run. I made the mistake of not breaking them in enough and my knees and feet paid the price.

My last year's pair weren't too worn, but I felt that they had lost some of their support, so got the new Ghost 17. Comfortable, cushioned, supportive, and all around great for the walking that I do.
