There are an infinite number of ways to use this classic cream. The legend created in 1930 by Elizabeth Arden herself to soothe skin, eight hours® cream skin protectant became an instant and overwhelming success. What made it so effective? A combination of petrolatum, a skin-soothing beta-hydroxy -- debuting in one of its first cosmetic uses -- and vitamin e. The apricot-colored balm was so beneficial to her clients that miss arden even used it to soothe her famous thoroughbred horses' legs. Even its name came about thanks to a remarkable performance – a loyal client used it to treat her child's skinned knee and "eight hours" later, the skin was all better.

I’ve used this cream for several years now. It keeps my skin hydrated and soft. I recommend using it if your skin tends to be on the dry side. In the North East, we have weather that dries the skin on a regular basis. Eight Hour Cream Protectant is your companion for moist, healthy skin.

The only con is that I hate the smell of it lol. But the texture is thick and a little greasy, BUT- I like that. I sometimes just use it as a base for my makeup. I'd recommend 10/10.

I like the cream / but when I I ordered I was promised a small gift bag that included a smaller same cream as well as other. I was looking forward to the smaller sizes for upcoming travel. I certainly feel duped. Sincerely. S fordyce

Smells absolutely awful

I saw this online and had such high hopes for this but the scent is awful. I tried a small amount on my cuticles first and had to wash my hands right away. No way I could put this on my face. I received a small unscented as a gift and it’s fine. But this stuff isn’t much different than Aquaphor. I won’t buy again. .

Even when I wake up the next morning, I can still tell that my skin is being moisturized. The only negative I would say is it can be a little sticky (like lipgloss) and can get in your hair.

I bought this cream after seeing an Instagram add. I was excited about the benefits to my skin. When I received my order I was wildly disappointed with the smell. I may have to return it. I don’t know that I can stand the scent
