Nice skirt with drawbacks
No, I don't recommend this
Been looking for a simple denim skirt for ages. This one appeared the answer but presented several problems - the denim itself was like cardboard, the length was far too long for someone size 10 and 5'4" so a couple of hours of sewing later, 10+ cm taken off the length and the button holes enlarged so they can actually be done up, and I have a garment I hope will turn out to be useful. My labour needs to be factored in over and above the purchase price !

Great weight - summer or winter. Lovely colour - true denim that acts as a neutral and goes with everything. Wonderful length - for me at 5’8” who doesn’t want to flash pale legs in summer. Skimming cut - flattering cut with enough fluidity in the denim so it doesn’t sit like a tent (but still roomy enough to stride in). One star deducted for tiny pockets - just one at the back big enough to accommodate a phone would have made this perfect!
