Completely the wrong shape at the hips-sticks out like a square!

I was delighted to find this instore as it was exactly what I had spent weeks looking for both online and instore. The skirt does however come up rather large. I am typically a size 8 but the size 6 fitted perfectly. It is really good quality and a great colour that looks good both with a T shirt and blouse.

Really liked the look of this skirt. Disappointed as the cut on the hips really sticks out. Ordered a size 8 petite but I think I should have ordered the 6. Liked the colour and style

Lovely colour,but the skirt was too square, much too big on the hip's, it was a shame had to send back.

Material, colour and petite length all perfect. Sadly too wide at the hips and too much material

Perfect fit in petite size 6 including the length. Colour is slightly more ‘washed out’ than I thought, but it does go with a good range of colours. It creases more than I thought but overall I am happy with this product. Could do with it in more colour's though.

Good to find self colour skirts. Bought both colours, I am 5'2"and are knee length which i wanted for the summer. Usually waer size 12 or 14 i got these in 14 which fits better on waste. I haven't had a problem with the hip size as some people said. Think they are expensive for casual skirts but 25% off made a difference.

Having seen the other review I was concerned about ordering on line but glad I did. It fits me perfectly which probably means I am a weird shape. I am between a 10 and 12 but got the 10. It is knee length and I like the attached belt. I struggle to find skirts that fit and this does! good on waist and hips. I would say it is a more grey rather than true purple. Probably too warm for the hottest days but will cross the seasons. One happy customer with this skirt!

I am usually size 14 but it was massive on the hips like jodhpurs..size 12 was better but still an odd fit on the hips. Nice material but that was the only positive .

I agree with the other reviewers about the sizing issue. I ordered my normal size and it was huge in the hips.

This is a lovely skirt, good quality fabric and a lovely colour (I ordered the purple). Unfortunately the sizing was quite wrong in as much as the size 8 was huge on the hips.....I'm a fairly standard shape. I am so disappointed as fairly certain a size 6 would be too small on the waist.

Lovely casual skirt - I opted for dark natural which is a light tan. I have numerous WS skirts (bit of a fan!) but alas this one was huge around the hips,which stuck out,although ordered my usual 8R size.
