Colour Block Secret Slimming™ Bandeau Swimsuit

Very happy with this swimsuit. Good fit, good quality fabric and a lovely bright colour. Can't wait to wear it.

M&S used to make brilliant, simple, bandeau swimming costumes. No fancy shaping or padding, just comfortable, plain styles that were easy to get into and to wear. Sadly they don't do this any more, so it's a case of trying to find one that is as close as possible to those. One that doesn't feel like a corset, with more padding, shaping and plastic bits than you can shake a stick at. And this is it. Yes, it has the padding, but it's removable, and it still has the plastic bars on the sides, but they don't dig in as much as others. It's also a single layer of material on the body, which means it's not impossible to lever yourself into when you're damp or already hot and sweaty when on holiday - as many of the other styles are. It's also long enough, so you're not constantly worried about flashing by accident if you're not wearing the neck strap! It also feels a bit more classy and glamorous than many of the other designs. I really liked this and bought another when I got back from holiday - it's just a shame they don't do the exact same style in any other colours.

This is a lovely bright blue costume just right for my holiday in Cyprus later this summer. I like the bandeau style as it is comfortable and no strap marks when in the sun but it has a strap for swimming.
