Cook the posh dogs (4) and chips (400 g) according to pack instructions.

While they are cooking prepare the curry ketchup. Heat ½ tbsp vegetable oil over a medium heat and fry the chopped shallot (1) until softened. Add the ketchup (180 g) and cook for a few minutes until warmed through.

Add the baking powder (1/4 tsp) to the pan and stir continuously until foaming subsides. Stir in the curry powder (5 tsp) and smoked paprika (1 tsp). Cook for 2 minutes before adding the beef stock (70 ml) and apple cider vinegar (2 tsp). Reduce the heat and cook for a further 5 minutes.

Cut the posh dogs into slices. Portion the chips onto plates and top with the sliced posh dogs, curry ketchup, crispy onions (4 tbsp) and an extra sprinkle of curry powder.
