Boys' Skinny Leg Regular Fit School Trousers

Horrible stiff material.....

Purchased these trousers for my 15 year old. He is quite slim and tall. Fit is great. Suits him. Just the right size and length. He is happy. Perfect!

Ordered a pair of each of the different styles that marks have an these are the only ones that fit the best there just nice in the leg width not skinny more a slim fit an good at the waist, we've tried trousers from other brands as well but these seem to be the ones that fit my sons bum the best he’s only 6 but really small but has a bum so most of the other fits are either way too baggy or too tight round the bum glad we found these will be ordering more. Lovely material seem good quality an look nice on him very smart. Would recommend

Oh dear, where to start? My youngest is currently wearing slim fit skinny leg trousers. Now he's filling out a bit and getting taller, time for some new school trousers. Easy right? Heck no! Plus fit, regular fit, slim fit. Regular leg, slim leg,skinny leg, extra skinny leg¡!!!!! So first we went for next size up, slim leg (the label in his current ones said slim). Wrong. Leg too wide, not remotely slim. Returned those, re-ordered same age, skinny leg. Not skinny when compared to his current trousers, at least an inch (probably two) wider at the bottom. Arrggghhh! So frustrating. So now I think my only option is slim fit skinny leg even though he's filling out. Two trips to the store, a third to come and now the 20% offer has finished. Always buy M&S school trousers but this is incredibly frustrating and time consuming. What is going on with the fit?? There is my review, bet you're glad you asked!!

Bought last year, perfect fit for my son, adjustable waist band & pull up no messing with buttons or zip.

I bought black skinny school trousers for my son. The length & skinny fit of legs was normal. The top of the trousers however, was huge. The fit was baggy & looked awful. The waist could be made smaller with the elasticated waist, but so baggy around the rest of the pelvis, they looked terrible. They were returned.

Great that you can take the hem down to make them longer and at age 10, they still have adjustable waists

I ordered these trousers for my son as they have an adjustable waist and his last few pairs were from M&S but when I got them home they wouldn’t adjust....the elastic had been stitched into the seam so we’re unable to stretch the elastic. Ordered an other pair next day and guess what they were the same stitched into the seam so would not adjust..... Obviously whoever quality checks isn’t doing their job.. I also ordered a different pair in the same size and round the hips and bum were huge... Not what I expect from Marks, no wonder my local store is closing, what has happened to the quality of your items????? Went elsewhere and bought ones that fitted and adjusted.

These are very smart school trousers. Love the charcoal grey. They wear well - we have had a few pairs over the years. The wash well.

Great choice of fits from M&S online. Used the size guides to pick a couple of different fits that matched size and was pleased to find these with just the right amount of growing space and slim fit that son was happy with. Impressed with the extra hem provided for more growth!

Purchased for my fussy teen who declared M&S 'slim leg' trousers were like flares!! For the record M&S, your slim leg trousers are fine. Just like the slim leg trousers, these skinny leg trousers wash and wear well. The adjustable waist is invaluable. If dried on a cool tumble, they shake and smooth really well so don't even need ironing. Depending on the shape and build of your child, these may not suit everyone but for now at least, my teen is happy! Thanks M&S.
