Not doing the job I hoped it would
Was very pleased with this topper when I opened it up. The pockets looked well filled and the material felt nice and silky. The bed felt luxurious and still does but I bought it because I am having sore hips and needed a good padding on top of the mattress. Unfortunately the good sleep only lasted a few nights for me. I am now still putting padding under my side of the bed.

Bought this in an effort to make a very hard mattress more comfortable. The product was recommended in a Guardian review and the price seemed amazingly good value. However, it hasn't made the mattress comfortable and barely provides any difference at all. Pity I wasted my money. At least the packaging comes in useful.

Airmax 1000 Extra Deep Mattress Topper is ok.
After finally receiving my order (I won't be doing that again EVRI delivery!) I was looking forward to putting it straight on my bed as I've not slept properly for months! but i had to wait 48 hours for it to get full depth. Its ok, but not as comfortable as I thought, I am finding it uncomfortable to sleep on my sides, and thought this would help after reading someone else's review, but I still find it uncomfortable, but it has helped a bit.

DISAPPOINTING
I was looking for a topper to make my mattress more 'cosy' as it is quite firm. This does not seem to be 4" deep in the centre - despite leaving it to rise after the vacuum packing - and gives me no more cosiness than a thinner topper. It is well made and stays in place without moving so I have no complaints from that point of view. Maybe I was expecting too much.

Puffed up well after 48 hours but top, bottom and side panels are quite flat. There is no way you could return this as it comes vacuum packed and it would be like putting a quart into a pint pot!
