Super comfortable, supportive, great heel support

Super comfortable and supportive! I love how thick the sole is to protect my heel from stomping on concrete floors all day working at a busy dispensary.

Wore my new shoes on a cruise. They were very comfortable but hard to match with outfits so I only wore them for 1day.

Love my new Agility Peak 5’s, super comfortable right out of the box, no need for break in period. So far have done multiple non-technical hikes since its early in the season but they have performed fantastic and are super comfortable for long walks! So glad I got them!

Disappointing.
Originally posted on Merrell
Disappointing. The tongue is very long and hits and scrapes the fronts of the ankle. If you look very closely you can see the ends of “threads” sticking out. They are not soft fabric but sharp plastic pointy ends and they scrape the skin of the ankle when wearing ankle socks.

Super comfortable with superior grip!
Originally posted on Merrell
I bought these to try as a replacement for my heavier mid boots (Merrell waterproof Moabs) that I have always worn hiking. I was headed to western Colorado and eastern Utah (Moab/Canyonlands) and knew I would likely not need the heavier boots. I usually love the fit of Merrells and these shoes were no different - they fit like a glove. The thinner tongue took a little longer to get used to and I have to tie my shoes tighter to make sure my thin ankles/heels don't step out of them. But I was able to wear thinner/cushioned hiking socks and wore them all day with no issues. The bottom tread and it's stickiness were awesome on the trails - walking across slickrock feeling absolutely confident in the cushioned grippiness of the shoes was a definite plus. So much so that I bought a 2nd pair. I just wish the colors offered were better - I have the pale pink and pale green ones and they definitely look like some kind of orthopedic shoe.

Great shoes for Volcan Acatenango

Shoes were fantastic and held up so well. I had no feet pain and had only wore them twice before doing a 12 hr day hike at volcano acatenango in Guatemala. They were amazing and the grip was great for the slippery parts. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing good trail runners.

I was so excited to try these shoes. They are fairly comfortable. And provide medium support. Nice looking. They do run big though. I thought they would be ok with heavy socks but my heel feels like it is moving. So I’m not a fan of the over all fit of these.

Runs Long

I purchased these in the same size as my Moab Speed 2's. However, they are too long and my foot is sliding all over the place. I've worn them out twice and can't return them. I contacted CS and they were Great! They were able to give me a discount on a new pair in a better size! Thank you Merrill! Have worn your shoes for over 10 yrs and will definitely continue to do so!

Great cushion and support, love the grippy lugs

Bought these a month ago in my normal size womens 10. Had to send them back because my toes were hitting the ends. The size 10 women’s was NOT a UK 8.5 which it typically is and runs the same between sizes. The 10.5 came and I thought they were too long but I walked around the house with a heel lock and they felt great. I’ve worn them about 15 miles so far and they are great . I feel the women’s version runs 1/2 size small. My husband and I wear the same size. I usually have a women’s 10 which is a men’s 9. He bought his normal size 9 and I tried them and they are fine. The men’s 9 IS a UK 8.5 as usual! The shoe fits differently between men and women’s sizes I’m not sure they even have the same last. This runs true for goretex and non gortex. Hopefully this helps.

Very poor quality

I have worn them maybe 5 times total, and only indoors. Within the first 3 times the paint on the soles started wearing off, and the padding in the heels are starting to separate. I only weigh 110 pounds and I am only walking in them. I’m not doing anything that would cause this kind of damage. I had high expectations for these shoes, but I am very disappointed with the quality.
