Heatgen Plus thermal pop socks
Yes, I recommend this
Bought two pairs of these thermal pop socks for a camping weekend in the Lakes recently and they did the job just great. Particularly like the fleecy feel to the linings.. Fit well and smoothly under trousers and best of all kept me warm!

Cosy legs
Yes, I recommend this
Tried these for the first time. Really lovely and cosy with a fluffy inner. Toe seam could be a bit of a problem, but I have found that with a bit of manoeuvring this can be overcome . Will certainly be buying more on line as my local store isn't stocking them at the moment.

Spot-On for Winter
Yes, I recommend this
Love these knee-highs. They are warm, soft, have a deep band at the top which avoids a ridge on my legs, and are not too thick. I wear them under trousers and leggings, especially when travelling and they fit well under ankle or knee-length boots. They are not cheap, and I noticed a pair I had only worn about 4 times has worn thin on top of my (cut short) big toe nail so I hope they will give long-lasting wear. I have purchased about 6 pairs over the last 2 winters and recommend them.

Great socks
Yes, I recommend this
I bought these knee length socks specifically because I am having a new knee operation soon, and won't be able to wear tights for a while. These are very warm and stay up, and will make life much easier for me.

Heatgen Socks

I am so pleased I found these. So soft, so warm, so easy to wash, so easy to dry, so smooth & so lovely I NEED more. They are so warm to wear absolutely perfect when we had a real cold spell. Lastly, not at all bulky. I highly recommend these socks.

best knee length socks
Yes, I recommend this
these are thicker than regular socks but have the appearance of a thick denier tight. lovely and soft and stretch to accommodate a decent sized calf which i have struggled with in other knee length socks. wash well & dry quickly.

I suffer with NUM toes but they didn't help me.

Disappointing
No, I don't recommend this
Lovely material making them really snug & warm but they constantly slide down to mid-calf which is very aggravating. They don't feel anything like long enough. I'm so disappointed as I love the tights in a similar material.

Best thermal knees highs on the market
Yes, I recommend this
Great item, really good value compared to others & look smart too. Perfect fit, yet I'm on the large side but no issues with slipping or sag. Very thick & welcome warmth.

Thermal knee high socks

Only worn them twice and went in holes at the toe seam. Stitched them up but gone in holes again. Shame because they kept my feet warm but wasted £6, they won’t even last the winter at this rate.

Heatgen products
Yes, I recommend this
All Heatgen products appear to be made on the "generous" sizing - too large. The "socks" are uncomfortably too tight round the top. I purchased two of every item ordered. Majority of goods being returned because of the sizing. I ordered size 16 in error, and will exchange them for size 12/14. I have ordered Heatgen products in the past and been delighted with them. Due to the really cold weather I ordered Heatgen Plus. Since the garments had a fleecy interior, I assumed this is what Plus signified. Perhaps it referred to size! I would recommend the garments but warn them about the sizing and the extremely tight tops to socks. I do not have "thick" leg calves and normally knee high socks fit well.

Lovely warm knee-highs
Yes, I recommend this
I bought these for myself last winter and found them so comfortable and warm and lasting into this winter that I bought some for my elderly mother. She finds them equally comfortable and warm. Much better than socks. Wash well too

Love love love these !!
Yes, I recommend this
These are just perfect at this time of year. Keep my legs and feet feeling very warm. No leg marks which I have had in the past. Last for ages - wear them on a daily basis. Buy them !!!! My only gripe is that they only seem to be available online.

Uncomfortable toe seam
No, I don't recommend this
I was desperate to find some really warm socks and these looked to fit the bill. However, as others have mentioned, the toe seam is VERY uncomfortable and there is no heel which makes them like a long tube but they do hug the foot in a shapely way. They are nice and thick but very tight. I have reasonably slim legs but found them restrictive to the point that if you had a larger calf they could feel like your blood supply was being cut off! Also, these socks have quite a slippery feel which I personally find somewhat unpleasant, more like tights than cosy socks. They seemed to gradually pull from the toe back towards the leg increasing the discomfort over the toes and I found I was constantly pulling them forward from the toe end. Annoying to say the least and at £6 a pair I am quite disappointed.
