I use these for work every day and they are amazing. Very comfortable.

Light and comfortable. These shoes are great for light hiking in the mountains or just around town.

Bought on-line and didn't concentrate: the new-style laces were not expected. I have tried the shoes and find them very comfortable but if/when they break they appear to be NOT replaceable. A very poor departure and definitely not clever !

I started buying Salomon walking/hiking shoes probably 15 years ago because I was experiencing pain along the sides of my feet. They solved the problem. Not long ago, I bought a pair of Salomon boots, and I bought these shoes a few weeks ago. Both shoes develop a strong, mildew-like smell when they get wet. I leave them in the sun to dry when they get wet. I have even started pulling out the insoles and using baking soda in the shoes. I am wondering what has changed. I have started wearing my older shoes again since this problem started, and they don't smell. I think it's a problem with the newer shoes, but I am not entirely sure.

I have been buying Solomons for years but the last two pair I bought the laces frayed and split a few months after.

Great shoes for hiking on and off trails. Have purchased before and the lasted for years with regular trail use. Comfortable, good traction in both dry and wet conditions. Love the pull tight laces.

Fits as advertised, good feel. Would buy on spec as exceeds expectations.

I really like most Solomon shoes for their great fit and ability to maintain quality with my very active lifestyle. This is the first pair I’ve bought that has not been worthy of 5 stars. The tongue slips all over and I cant tighten them enough to keep my feet from sliding around inside while I’m doing strenuous activity. Not your best work.

These shoes are great maybe some of the best I’ve had. They are very rigid and durable I’ve been wearing them for about a year and I’ve never had shoes that look this good, hold up this well. I like how they are not too narrow they flair out just enough around the outside of the balls of your feet (don’t know the technical term) and fit great so I don’t have to buy the annoying wide fit shoes like with the Speedcrosses. Also I have to mention the toe cap… love those, super protective. I gave them 4 stars because of 2 reasons the tongue is a little too narrow but still works fine if it doesn’t move to one side or the other and second the inside of the heal needs to be reinforced, other than that they’re great. Here’s a picture after wearing them for a year.
