Textured Long Sleeve Shift Dress

little short and thin material but looks great and i do love it

Not same as shown on website. Material see through, and poor quality sent back.

Ordered a size 8 which is larger than a normal size 8 Material is completely see through, thin and cheap and looks nothing like the picture.

The dress is made of a knitted material which is quite see through. This means that you can see the shape of your legs through the dress. I didn’t like this. I also found the hip area a little loose compared to the bust area. Again it could have been lovely in the right material and the right fall and drape, but sadly again this dress had to be returned.

I think this dress would possibly look good on a slim frame. On me it looked frumpy and I thought the knit was a little too open, sort of a course texture to it. Returned.

I though how nice this was in the photograph ...when it arrived I was surprised, how flimsy and cheap it looks. Fabric is awful....it went back the same day!

I love this little dress. I ordered the black and the grey for choice and decided to keep the grey. I am size 12, 5'2" and the fit is perfect .It is knee length on me. Will look great with opaque tights and ankle boots but can be dressed up or down

Horrid, scratchy fabric, unfortunately. In another fabric - cotton, woolly, fleecy - would be fab.....

Lovely, easy to wear dress that can be dressed up or down. I wanted a long sleeved dress to wear at the pub on winter evenings and this is perfect. If there has to be a down side , the material is thinner than I expected but this does not detract from the quality it is one of the problems of buying on line and misinterpreting the description.

Very comfortable but too long

really wanted to like this dress as I loved the shape. Unfortunately the fabric was a poor quality and felt really cheap. It was also itchy against my skin. The sleeves were quite tight too. Shame because the dress was a good fit otherwise. I’d rather spend more money on something if better quality. Sorry M and S think you need to employ better buyers or increase your prices. If I want cheap clothes I’d shops elsewhere.

Bought this in grey and black but have had to return them as a strange length on me 5’5” and very open weave so see through with outline of legs.

Really like this dress , its comfortable ,easy to wear and true to size. Although on the model it looks very short but I am 5'1ins and it comes past my knee. Material is a little see through for a knit so a slip could be an option. It looks more expensive than the price when on ,and is bang up to date.Got loads of lovely comments !

The style is lovely, perfect for winter with tights and boots and I though it was just what I’d been looking for in a casual jumper style dress. However. It’s see through. It’s a wide knit rather than a texture and will require a slip to be worn underneath.
