Straight Leg Trousers

Although these trousers were stylish, and the material felt good, I didn't think they were my style but for someone younger and slimmer they would be great.

These were my size but too baggy around the bottom and simply not stylish

Liked them, but they are too wide on the thigh.

My second review and really just want to say disappointed with! the fit of these. Ordered three pairs of trouser for different occasions and all are different sizes (despite having same size on label!) Again, I as M&S to check their sizes please

I am 5' 9" and have always found M & S long trousers and jeans too long, and have to take them up. I purchased these trousers, which were a lovely fit and nice material but they were too short. They only measured a 28" inside leg and not as advertised 33". Very disappointed.

I was looking for a pair of straight leg grey trousers online and these seemed to fit the bill. The poor average review rating was initially off-putting, but when I read the reviews I saw that criticism was almost entirely about the leg length being very short. So I ordered a longer length than usual and found that is just right for me. The fit is good and quality is good, and I like the silver zips on the pockets with the charcoal colour.

Beware! Very short! The regular is more like usual short size. Am keeping only because I'll be wearing with a boot and flat shoes. A heel would be a no no.

Ordered online after seeing in store. The website photograph suggests more of a bootleg style and quite a bright pink but they are straight leg and more of a dusky pink which I prefer. I would have liked a slightly narrower style in the leg and also a side zip which would give a smoother profile over the tummy. I also had to downsize to a size 10 to get a good fit - not uncommon these days with M & S trousers. Despite these reservations, the trousers fit well, are flattering and are quite good quality fabric so I decided to keep them.

Ordered them for the colour first but the inside leg measured 24 inches, The size guide states for Size 12 short 27inches. It would have been helpful if the actual inside leg measurement was made clear for this style trouser in with the details. I wear flat shoes and bottom of pants looks too baggy adjacent to ankle my height 5ft 2.

I saw these trousers in store and they fitted perfectly. I purchased them along with per una cream embellished jumper online . I always wear 12regular in M&S trousers and these fitted perfectly as I love ankle length in this style and fabric. They are more salmon pink which is what they look like in photo. Love high waist. In fact I love M&S trousers and rarely buy trousers or jeans anywhere else.

I was initially attracted to the lime/mustard colour, which on receipt was as expected. However, my following comments almost mirror another Welsh customer who experienced the same problems as me. I am a size 12 but found these were too loose around the bottom area and seemed to stick out as they were away from the body. I ordered an average length but this proved to be too short and a little 'flappy' around the ankle area of the leg Perhaps an improved pattern would help the fit and perhaps a better quality material. I would certainly pay a higher price if these features were improved. .

I am 5'6" and having read the previous reviews bought these - both colours - in 10 long. They just come to my ankle which is what I wanted. They are perhaps a generous 10, but a size down would be too tight, so I am keeping both pairs. The pink is what others might call blush. Both colours look great with M&S boxy black bell sleeved cotton knit top, as well as a variety of contrasting and toning colours. Perfect!

I really like most of Per Una trousers but the fit on these was weird so baggy on the bottom. Speaking to another customer who had mentioned that they were the same on her. Too wide at the hem for me also . Fantastic colour would like another design in this.
