Speziale Cotton Rich Velvet Wide Leg Trouser

I bought these to wear on occasions when my silk velvet trousers would be too dressy. These are not as slinky and flowing as silk velvet, but are more robust and easier to look after. They are smart enough for semi-formal events though if you are tall and want to wear heels you should be aware that they may be closer to ankle length. They are described as wide-leg but are more like a slightly loose bootcut. I wish that M&S would produce more trousers with a side zip and fastening that is as flat as possible to minimise bulk, particularly in designs that might be used for evening wear.
