Not even a year It started to rip tear apart and putting it on the back got crushed and it wouldn’t come back to its mold also the inside of the Shoe after wearing them during the day starts to stink awful

Bought this shoe in the Surf Colourway. Versatile shoe, but I'm not impressed with the build quality. I've been wearing them 2-3 times a week for 6 months, and already there's significant wear and tear on the front and back of the soles. Not as durable compared to other major brands. Also this shoe isn't that comfortable, compared to other classic running shoes. My feet hurt more compared to other models.

Odd look and fit

The Shadow 5000 looks great in photos but on the foot, the look is bulky at the mid section of the shoe. This makes the shoe look smaller than it actually is. This is compounded by an extremely small and narrow toe box. I have a normal width foot and these shoes were not wide enough for me.

I bought this shoe to replace another pair that was wearing out. I needed a good walking/ exercise class shoe. This shoe is a little stiffer than the all mesh versions and required a little breaking in, which is the reason I rated it a 4. Otherwise, it’s a comfortable, supportive shoe for those of us who don’t need a fancy running shoe. Saucony is my go to athletic shoe.

Front Sole Peels

Super comfortable shoes and great for everyday wear. Unfortunately, after about a month, the front of the sole started peeling back. Looks like the glue or adhesive isn’t strong enough. Had to use superglue to fix. Love the fit and feel, but disappointed with how quickly they started to come apart.

This is my second pair of Shadow 5000 and I absolutely love them. Was in On Clouds before and these are way more comfortable. Well made shoe as well!
