I would expect no less from M&S. The quality of these cream mugs is excellent, and they’re great value for money. They can be dishwashed and microwaved, and go with many types of decor. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Bought these for my elderly aunt who has arthritic hands as they are microwavable, have a sizeable handle and were described as fine china. They are actually heavy, chunky mugs which certainly can't be described as fine china and as a result are no good for her. If you want a cheap, simple mug and aren't worried about its weight then you might be happy with these. I shall be returning for the reasons above and also because on first use tea leaked through an otherwise invisible crack in one mug.

Fine bone china they are not!! However they are lovely mugs, nice size, dishwasher and microwave safe. Very stable and nice cream neutral colour. The best thing though at £6 for six mugs you cannot go wrong!! Highly recommend.

A generous size mug. Although states fine bone china they are not fragile so are great for everyday use.

The style is fine, sturdy, stable shape. I do prefer drinking out of a fine china mug and these are definitely not fine bone china. They are however very cheap so would be great for someone who just wanted a set of bog standard drinking mugs. There was also some confusion on original advert (said dishwasher safe in one part of ad and hand wash only in a different part). Have not started using them yet so uncertain about durability, I do have a dishwasher so will have to see how they fare after multiple washes.

Nice looking and beautiful mugs

These mugs are super. They're not what I would call 'fine' China, but they are not chunky either. A good size for a cuppa, plain white in colour and great value for money. I purchased them for work, ready for meetings..but they are that nice to drink out of the staff keep using them!!

I would not call these fine China, I agree with a previous reviewer who called them builder's mugs.Had i seen them in store i certainly would not have bought them. I read some favourable reviews on line, but should have read more,! Certainly cheap, but I am returning them

M & S you need to change the description of these mugs - fine china they certainly are not. Quite thick to drink from but they're functional and you wouldn't worry too much about breaking them at this price. I thought tea tasted peculiar until they'd been washed up a few times.

Brilliant value for money

In a busy household these deal with everything from soup to cake in a cup. Dishwasher safe and neutral in appearance and sturdy enough to not always break if you drop them - what more could you want?
