Roma Rise Slim Leg Denim Jeans

I am 65 years of age and have always found your jeans a good fit. However I am disappointed that these came with the faded look! What has happened to the nice plain dark indigo in a slim leg. Also, why cannot we buy ladies black jeans in the same denim as blue but dyed black as we used to be able to get. I do not like the solid block colour of your current black range as they fade at the knees very quickly! Sorry to moan. I am a faithful customer and this will not change.

Like a lot of other customers, I've found that Per Una sizing, which used to be very consistent, varies a lot and, maddeningly, jeans don't hold their shape. This leads to the need to hoik up your jeans whenever you get up or move about. Inelegant, uncomfortable and annoying. However, these jeans are different (of the seven different Per Una styles/sizes ordered, I kept only these ones!). Having read other reviews and having recently lost a bit of weight, I went down a size to a 12. They are very slim on the leg but not so much so as to look 'sprayed on' or hamper movement and medium is quite long on me (I'm 5'7"). The material is not the thickest denim but the colour (indigo) is a good, deep blue and they wash well. I was concerned, given their closer fit, about shrinkage, but this has not happened. I was so happy with them that I bought another two pairs. I'm disappointed today to see them in the sale as it looks as if they may be about to be discontinued. Had hoped to have these in black.

Have purchased Per Una Jeans for the last couple of years and always been great fit and length. However, these did fail on both counts. Quite tight on left leg and waist.

I ordered these jeans by mistake but was happy to try them on in the hopes I might like them. unfortunately they didn't fit well at all. They were slimmer fit than the other per una jeans I have and so too tight on me. Returned in store.

i bought these jeans after losing over a stone and a half and they really are my best buy, they fit snug to your body and move with you, i will be buying another pair.

Very disappointed with these jeans. I always take a regular length in jeans and usually they are a perfect length. Unfortunately these ones were not because they didn't seem long enough and the material was too stretchy, especially in the waist. Each time I moved they kept slipping down. They didn't seem long enough. Will not recommend these jeans.

These jeans are a lovely colour and are well made from quality denim. At 5'2" even the short are a little long wiith flats. The waist is higher than usual and roomy. I could probably take a size down because if this.

I bought these jeans in regular and short length in various shades of denim Vertebrace two years and all fitted very well. The different lengths were to suit whichever shoes I wear at the time. This year I tried a regular pair instore which were about 4 inches too long so ordered 14 short online, as none available in two stores and these were exceptionally short so had to be returned. What is happening to M&S sizing? You can't rely any more on any one pair of jeans etc. fitting. I have seen so many reviews saying the same thing. I can understand M&S using different suppliers but can't universal template be used?

At last, some jeans that fit and flatter my apple shaped figure (large waist and slim legs). PLEASE PLEASE make some in other colours for summer!. Size 16. 5ft 4 tall. Medium length was much too long. Couldn't get short length.

Nice modern lines, slim fit, but not a second skin. Loved them - a wardrobe staple. The sort of jeans I would wear everyday, knowing they look good and are serviceable.

M&S have a known problem amongst their clients that sizing is an issue. The same product but a different colour can fit differently. Product sizing from one design to another will also vary.

I like Roma jeans and these were as good as others I have bought apart from the fit. Like other reviewers I found even the short length too long for my 5 ft height. I will keep them but resent having to shorten a pair of jeans costing nearly £40.
